Faculty
The University believes that the student experience is determined greatly by the quality of teachers they have. To ensure high quality education standards, the selection process for the faculty members is carried out by a panel constituted with subject experts drawn from nationally reputed institutions and universities. Most of the faculty are either doctorates or are pursuing their doctoral degrees. Several of them have also worked in industry. Knowledge Resource Centers
All campuses have well-stocked libraries containing reference material, and Indian and International books and magazines. Subscriptions to industry information databases ensure that extensive research resources and publications with search facilities are available to students and faculty. In addition, the libraries contain directories, industry reports and statistical compilations that provide timely and concise information for project work.

Computing Facilities
The latest hardware and software infrastructure is in place to cater to the computing needs of all the students and the training requirements of computer science programs. The campuses are equipped with powerful servers and multiple terminals with multiple operating systems. The students are guided by well-experienced faculty members. High speed internet access is provided to the students and faculty.

Internship Programs
For the development of institutionalized linkages with industry, unique Internship Programs are offered.

The Internship Programs ensure that linkages are developed and sustained with industrial and other organizations outside the world of academia. They serve as a formal method within the curriculum, to bring the realities of the world of work into the educational process.

The Programs require that the students undergo the rigors of the professional world in form as well as in substance, and provide them with an opportunity to apply their classroom knowledge to live situations. They differ from “Practical Training” as well as “Sandwich Schemes” in that the entire student education during the Internship Programs is supervised by faculty and forms a part of the students’ total credits toward their degree.

There are two Internship Programs: IP-I of two months duration, implemented during the summer following the second year of study, and IP-II of five and a half months duration, implemented in either the VII Semester or the VIII Semester, during the final year.

The Internship Programs offer several benefits to all the three partners in the conduct of the programs, namely., the students, the external organization, and the Institute:

Placements form the core of B.Tech. Program. Utmost importance is given in enhancing the potential competence of the students ensuring recruitment of the successful candidates through various corporate giants that visit the campus.

In this context, the ICFAI Universities are uniquely placed to leverage industry network, developed over a period of time by ICFAI. As a part of its placement efforts, placement teams visit potential employers and consultants and apprise them of the level of knowledge and practical application skills acquired by the graduates in their respective areas of specialization. The profiles of the students seeking placement assistance are made available to the prospective employers. Placement meets and personality development workshops are organized. All the students are provided guidance in career planning as they progress to higher levels of the program.
