Research

The Case Research Center at IFHE is a globally recognized source for contemporary case studies in management. The cases prepared at the center are based on analysis of primary and/or secondary data. They are subject to a stringent review process with multiple quality checks. The cases are tested in a classroom before they are published.

The Case Research Center (CRC) is manned by a team of experienced researchers. It has developed a repository of more than 5000 case studies on various national and international topics in all management subjects. All these cases are available at The Case Centre, UK (formerly European Case Clearing House), the world's largest repository of case studies in business management. CRC is a major case contributor to The Case Centre. Its case studies are used by Harvard Business School, Wharton School of Business, London Business School, the University of Oxford, MIT, INSEAD, the IIMs, ISB, McKinsey, PWC, and The Boston Consulting Group. More than 250 case studies from the Case Research Center have featured in international textbooks like Exploring Corporate Strategy (Financial Times/Prentice-Hall), Strategic Management (Thomson Learning), Strategic Management: A Casebook (Ivey Publishing), International Business (McGraw-Hill Irwin), Strategic Management Competitiveness and Globalization : Concepts and Cases (Thomson Southwestern). CRC cases have regularly won awards at some of the most prestigious global case writing competitions like EFMD, CEEMAN, oikos Global and John Molson Case Writing Competition.

IFHE places significant value on case research as it helps the institution maintain its relevance in the global dynamic marketplace with a deep connection to current business issues.

The Center is organizing its Third International Case Study Conference (ICSC 2015) in association with Parampara Family Business Institute (PFBI), A GMR Social Initiative as the Institutional Partner and Universiti Utara Malaysia, Partner University on August 6th & 7th, 2015.
